I was trying to put my TPI intake manifold on my new engine and realized it doesn't work with the heads I have. I've gota Weiand Single plane intake, part # 8004, and a HEI distributor. What else do I need to get to have a running, driving car. I'm planning on keeping the computer in the car to run the electrical things that need to stay electric. What do I need aside from a carb, intake mani, and HEI distrib to have a running car?

is it just the 4 center bolts that don't line up ? If so you can elongate them

The angle of the manifold is off as well. The Weiand I have fits A LOT better too.

So, when going from electrical dizzy to HEI what do I tap into for my tach?

next to the hei power terminal is the tach lead. this is the white wire on your body harness that went to the coil.A external coil you have is still considered hei just not coil in cap.

The connecter with the grey housing, pink is the coil power and white is the tach. You can buy a hei pigtail or use female spade connecters.

Alright, I got it, thanks. I'll pick up a pigtail eventually and wire it up.
