LU5 from CFI to Carb

I bought a trans am 1982 with an LU5 305 V8 which used to be CFI.
The previous owner changed CFI to carb using a 4BBL carb.
Now the carb has the code 17057204AYN.
How can i find how many CFM it is and if it is suitable for my engine.
If it is not suitable what is the right cfm it must have
?

Re: LU5 from CFI to Carb

decodes to 1977, regular emissions, chevy with an auto. most of those are the same about 750cfm whether they were on a 305, 350 whatever. the only special ones were on the bigger and performance engines. so to answer your question it is likely a good carb to have on your engine.
