getting carb off

Dumbest thing ive ever asked. But im replacing my carb but the nut that hold on the fuel line right in.front.of the filter WILL NOT BUDGE and i dont want to strip it. The gas line bends before the nut turns. Any suggestions?

Use a 1" wrench to hold the large fuel inlet nut. Otherwise you'll crank the fuel line into a pretzel.

Yea i know that. I even got really long wrenches. Doesnt budge. I dont think its been off since 86 lol

Spray a penetrant like PB Blaster on it, let it soak. Overnight would probably be best if possible.

Sometimes trying to tighten a little will help you loosen it. Keep spraying it and work it back and forth.
