I have a 82 Z28 all original. I purchased 2 functional cowls I found on line since there was none at time of purchase. How do I install? What could be the issue if not working after installation? After electrical testing, they both do indeed work.

 

Do you mean the hood with the functional flaps that works with the cross-fire injection system? Because that's not a cowl induction hood. Just trying to clarify what you're referring to.

Mmk, my car came with that hood. If I remember correctly the flaps were hooked into the throttle somehow, but I'm not entirely sure (car was a roller when I got it and someone had unhooked them).
