When I turn the key a gear couple of clicks, and then it stops. I have a service manual, but I don't understand the terminology in it.
Can somebody tell me in simple English how to diagnose and fix a code 23?
I'm just not that familiar with carbs. I've gad then before, but never had to do much with them.

Code 23 is throttle position sensor (TPS) error.
The MCS is supposed to click for 20 seconds or so after turning the ignition on without starting the engine. It should continue/resume clicking after the engine starts.
