No idle when warm

I just finished at tbi to carb swap. Yesterday, which would be day 3 of driving my 305 auto firebird with non cc quadrajet and he I, car would cut out at highway speeds. I found out was not getting enough fuel as I was letting my mechanical pump pull through the in tank electric pump. Worked fine the first two days, then day 3 it didn't want to do it anymore. I got rid of the electric pump and fixed that problem. Now a contestant problem I have been having since day one is when car is fully warmed up, after driving say,20 mins, at stops while in gear car will not idle, I have to go to neutral to stay alive. Even if I try adjusting idle screw on driver side, it will raise idle but it had erratic idle and sounds like its missing or something. This only happens when warm, when cold it idles fine no erratic idling or anything. But when it's warm and can't idle, soon as I get on the gas, car drives fine, no hesitation no missing or anything. Just at idle. I sprayed carb cleaner all over base of carb and it didn't sound like there was a leak. What else do I look for

Meaning an older version with vacuum and mechanical advance, or the original TBI distributor?

Vacuum advance got rid of the tbi dist. I plugged all vacuum ports on carb to eliminate any bad vacuum lines and still won't idle

Ok so now I really have to get this figured out as I let someone borrow my daily driver blazer and a drunk driver rear ended her and totaled my truck :/ thank god no one was badly hurt but my trucks frame looks like it twisted. so now the firebird is on permanent daily driver status, just need to get this idle issue figured out BC it gets annoying going to neutral every stop

Re: No idle when warm

I found 2 burnt plug wires that I didn't route correctly just laying on top of my manifolds so I temporarily got them off the manifold and electric taped the burn spots for the time being. Have to wait on my next pay check before I can get some new plug wires. Hopefully that's my problem
