ok, so i rebuilt my carb - this is how it went...
my first time, so i rebuilt an 85 ccqjet to put on while i was redoing my own - the 85 worked great - no bog or anything, and the idle mixture screw were still capped - i thought my original carb was the same way, but the caps have been cut out - when i rebuilt my original carb (86 lg4) and put it back on, it went alot better but there is still a small bit of bog - my question is, what are the symptoms of the 2 idle mix screws not being set properly? - i plan on retuneing it, but need to wait till after christmas to scrape up the money for a dwell/rpm/tach meter and the appropriate tool to twist the little ****

btw, on the original carb, i also upgraded to a b rod and ck hangers - tried the dr's, but were too rich - also filed down the secondaires tab to open up at 90* and reset the AV spring - not sure if any of this last bit of info is relevant, but there it is
any help is appreciated
thanks,
Joshua
