what to do to my L69 H.O. Q-JET to help performance
i heard like DR and R rods and hangers but then someone told me that i already have good ones
are there better
and is there anything else
also i think my carb is running rich
will this hurt my performance?

I would get it running right before I went changing stuff, but if you take a look in the tech articles on this site you will find a good one on getting performance out of the cc carbs. I have been told that dr rods and a b hanger would work good for my 350 but was also told that people have had good luck with that combination for anything from a 305 to 400+. That tech article really gives some insight though. Look it up. I think he actually tells about a combination or two of rods and hangers that worked good on his 305.
