What is this?

I bought a new Rochester 2se for my Firebird from Rockauto last week and when it arrived it had everything on it except for this piece. Normally I wouldn't have an issue with reusing a part but it doesn't seem to work right so I figured I'd buy a new one but I can't find this part anywhere. I think part of that is due to the fact I don't know what it is called, so if anyone knows or knows where I can get one I'd appreciate it.

And before someone says it, its not the carb choke pull off. That's a different part

Re: What is this?

Not the same Rochester but that's the part! Thanks. Now the hard part is actually tracking one of those down. Do you know what that part does by any chance?

Don't know much about carb's but from a quick google search.

"An idle speed solenoid or a throttle kicker assembly, depending on engine and application, is used to control curb idle speed. The throttle kicker is vacuum operated and controlled by the electronic control module. It maintains primary throttle position during deceleration, above a specified RPM."

Re: What is this?

Huh. I read that it kicks the throttle when attempting a cold start to try to make start up easier. Either way though, mine seems busted and I can't seem to find another one anywhere
