'83 CC Carb??

while im doin my engine swap (2.8-3.4) im planning on rebuilding or replacing my carb. id dont know exactly what it is. should i keep the stock carb on the 3.4 or replace it with something bigger? where can i get 2 bbl cc carbs rebuilt or new?

come on guys.. someone on here has gotta know something bout this. I am completly in the dark on this. if anything does anyone know cfm for the stock carb? and where i can get a rebuild kit for the carb?

I don't know the CFM rating, but the stock carb is adequate to feed a 3.4.

There is no such thing as a "new" CC carb, as the factory is the only one who ever made them, and they stopped making them several years ago. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a rebuild kit for it, though. Or, get a rebuilt carb from most any parts chain using yours for the core.

I'm sure Jet performance would rebuild yours as well. There are also many good carb shops around; check the Yellow Pages or ask around your area.
