i am trying to decide between a Holley or a Edelbrock for a chevy 4.8 to put in a boat

Surely there is a forum for boats and their associated Holley & Edelbrock "Card" you could be posting in as opposed to a Third Generation Camaro forum?

Use only a marine carb. I personally prefer Holley or a Qjet.

While it may be possible to stretch this as relevant to someone wanting to put a carb on a 4.8 they are swapping into a 3rd generation GM f-body...

Nope, just can't do it.

I'd recommend following the above advice.
