Stalls when slowing with clutch pressed

I have a 350 with an Edelbrock carb installed and a T56. I just added a vacuum advance dist. and it runs almost perfect. Except when you press the clutch in while slowing down it stalls. When ideling at start up its aroud 1000rpm. kept electric fuel pump to a regulator. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks

Which port did you connect to the vacuum advance?

Where do you have your timing set? (I assume you set it with vacuum advance disconnected)

Re: Stalls when slowing with clutch pressed

I connected it to the passenger side of the carb. The timing is a slight mystery right now. I dont have access to a timing gun until next weekend and I just got it close enough to sound good for right now.

Re: Stalls when slowing with clutch pressed

Are you talking about hard braking or just slowing at a normal rate?
