Help needed

Hi,

I recently installed an Edelbrock AVS2 8962 carburetor on my 1972 International Scout II with a V8 345 engine. I知 looking for recommendations on the type of fuel pump I値l need, as well as a compatible fuel regulator.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Electric?? Holley blue or a Mallory electric with the compatible regulator should work fine.

Re: Help needed

Agree that this is more of a Scout forum issue, but as I have one of those too...

I would avoid going with the Holley type of you have the dual tanks. The vane style pumps are designed to push fuel, not pull it much, and can burn out quickly if they have to pull fuel any distance. The passenger side tank on mine has a good distance before it gets to the tank selector valve then onward to the engine. I would be more inclined to stick with a mechanical pump, it will feed that 345 everything it needs without redesigning the fuel system.
