qjet on a performer?

Engine: L92/LQ4 (both w/4" stroke)
Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Nope, don't need one. The Performer is made to mount either a spread bore like the q-jet, or a square bore like a Holley or Edelbrock.
Something else to consider, though - EGR valve. If you have emissions testing/inspection, or if you keep the CC q-jet, you should go with the Performer EGR version. And, it's more expensive - sorry.

you do not have to have egr to run a q-jet carb mine is romoved off my iroc
but to pass inspection you well need it. but the carb can be ran with out the EGR
its better to
