Rimoved the computer, will the elec choke still work?

Rimoved the computer, will the elec choke still work?
I removed the computer from my 86 Z-28. I am swaping in a 350 with a 1406 (600cfm elec choke non-emissions). Can I still use the elec choke? Or did that wire come out with the computer harness? Any info will be appreciated. :rockon:
