Hey Ed, why does my carb work better now that it's cold outside?
Remember how I was having problems stalling and suff a few weeks ago. Well, now that it is 30-40 in the mornings, the car runs fine.
The only real things I did to it was to run some carb cleaner through the tank. No real messing with screws and stuff.
Could it be that I am too rich? Or that my O2 sensor isn't warming up or something? Does any of this ring a bell? I am NOT complaining, just curious if it is something you have come across before!
Thanks.

Well if you still didn't adjust it all up, then it is possible that you're running rich. Other than that, maybe the fuel system cleaner cleaned something out and is helping you some. But then again, maybe it's just that your car likes cold weather. My GP is running a lot better now in this cold then i expected it to. It even did a burnout last night.

HAHA, it's times like these when it runs good that I second guess about ditching the Q-jet and going with a Holley. I can never figure out what the ECU is going to like and what it won't... I guess it is going to be cold for a few months, so if it likes that, then fine.
BTW- Did you ever get your car back or is it still stolen?
