Is there a way to change the advance curve on a HEI?

Car: 2002 SOM z28
Engine: LS1
Transmission: T-56
Is there a way to change the advance curve on a HEI?
And I am not talking about a vacuum HEI, but a computer controlled one! I would assume that the chip may have some influence on this, but every aftermarket one I know of does nothing for performance increases on computer controlled q-jet cars.

Unfortunately, you gotta look at the custom chips. Hypertech, Jet and so-forth are all based on an unmodified/slightly-modified 305, so for your "built" 357 it'll do very little. When I sross this this bridge I am going to look at burning my own. Remember, the only variables (that I know of) that the chip in conputer controlled carbs controls is: Advance timing, part throttle mixture and spark retard (if equipt with a knock sensor).

Thanks, that is what I thought. I all ready have a Stage II Hypertech chip that didn't really do anything for me except throw up a code after a few minutes because I don't have a knock sensor.
