Demon or Holley or Edelbrock?

Hey,

I'm looking for a new carb for my GTA. It has an L-98 (350 + overbore to 355), World Heads, forged pistons, blower cam, and a Weiand 142 blower.
There is a Holley 650 on it right now because its all we had lying around.
I've been looking through Summit and trying to figure out why a Speed Demon is $200 more than a Holley or Edelbrock, and if it is worth the price difference.
This car is mainly for street races and stuff like that. (Beating LS-1's)

Any advice or related experience is appreciated.

Phil

I'd say stick with Holley, maybe go to a 750DP instead of a 650. The Demon is a great carb, but I don't personally think it's worth the extra $$$. It just looks pretty, and some say it adds a couple ponies. Don't even consider an Edel-crock..especially on a motor like that.

Ditto what Jester said. I was looking at the Demons, but the Road is too small, and the Street is too $$$. They have special fuel inlets =$80 and an electric choke is another $50 or something like that. I went with a Holley 750vac that I am trying to get tuned right...

1984 z28 w/ a 357 cu in. monster engine which is looking like the posterchild for Edelbrock with the exception of the Holley 750vac... all the suspension stuff... 9-bolt posi disk is in...
