92 with a Carb??

92 with a Carb??
I just got a 92 Camero RS, and it seems to me that it has a Carburetor, cause I can't seem to find the Fuel Injectors. I haven't spent alot of time lookin yet cause I am not even going to drive it till summer, but did they even put Carbs in 92 RS....and what is the best way to tell without rippin the engine apart??? thanx for any help..

as for your question, its not a carb, its TBI ot throtle bodie injection. its the generals half assed fuel injection set up. if you pull the air cleaner lid of you will see to injectors with 2 wires coming from them over the throtle plates.

Spring 01: 406, Comp 282 solid cam, 2400 stall converter, every thing else the same.

welcome to the world of TBI (Throttle Body Injection). Currently it is a crappy system.
HOWEVER, you can mod it to be on par w/ a TPI (Tuned Port Injection) or carb system. It will take some work, but if you look at prices, its easier AND cheaper to modify TBI vs TPI. There are some good articles on this board about moding the TBI. Look under the tech section.
