1983 CFI to carb swap
Ok I have a question for you guys. I swapped from cease-fire injection to a carb. Keep in mind this is not driving on the road yet. I was thinking of just wiring the fuel pump to a switch in dash, instead of that can I run it to the hot wire on the distributor? Also am I going to have any problems with transmission? It is the 700-R4. Everything should be alright with the tranny right?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Did this swap a while ago.First dont wire it to a toggle switch or directly to the distributor ,get a relay and wire it the right way using the oil pressure sending unit to turn it on and of.Secondly the tv cables for CFI and carb cars arenot the same length the cfi cable may fit and may seem to work ok but the line pressure will be low.As far as the lockup goes I used the kit from tci and it works perfectly.
