I recently swapped from CFI to a carb and I bought some throttle brackets from Autozone but I have no idea how to hook up the linkage. Could you guys direct me to a diagram on how to hook up the throttle cable and T/V cable? Thanks

 

okie dokie i feel your pain!! i have done about the same conversion and i have a autozone in my town too... i bought a t. bracket there too i guess that would make me sucker #2 hehe anyway the brackets suck!! for your 700-r4 to fit it has to be filed out to the cables side. hard to explain but bsaically when you try and i stress try to put it in the bracket you'll notice it wont fit because of the little protrusion on the cable, you have to hog out the bracket to the cable! but dont get mad like i did the first time and break off the tabs on the tv cable you'll have to re-place the tv and thats a bitch! as for the t. cable it just slides right in the bracket perfectly! it goes in the top litle bracket piece! also you'll have to buy a 7.00$ stud just for the tv cable to bolt on the carb. dont try to rig up a stud thats more harm than good trust me i tried ! as for a diagram i cant show you one but just email me and i'll instruct you step by step!
