ECM problems?

I am looking to buy a new carb. for my '86 Z28 which was OEM equiped with the E4ME computer controled carb. I am looking at a Holley 600 cfm vacuum secondary and dual feed. With this carb. not having an MC solinoid or TPS sensor should i expect the SES light to come on or have problems with the ECM or any of the outputs it controls?

Might be hard finding a dual feed 600cfm vac sec holley. try a "80457S" I guess you cuold make it a dual feed but why bother.
By changing the carb you know you have to change the distributer to a vac advance style. As far as the computer goes there is a white wire with a green stripe on it "sorry dont know what pin it it you will have to look" Ground that wire it will kill the check engine light just make sure to tie it up good. You do know this will make the car
non emmisions but you can leave the smog pump on for show! you might even get past an emmisons check if aplicable. Im not to sure but if your car is an auto the converter might not lock at crusing speeds but im not sure. I put a tb350 when I was rebuilding my 85 700r4 was slipping anyway. But other than that its a simple 1 maybe 2 houre job nothing special just take out and bolt in. Good Luck
