I've got a 350 with vortec heads, ~9:1 compression, and a comp 268 cam. I'm running a qjet on top of it, and have a big bog when I mash the gas, if I ease into the throttle it does alright.

I realize the carb needs some tweaking. What do you all recomend for primary/secondary jets on said motor? It should be making ~300-350 hp with the setup I've got.

Please respond and recommend, I've never rebuilt a carb yet.

 

you don't fix a bog by rejetting.
work with the accelerator pump. A stronger spring on the rods might help some too.
