I pretty much hate my old holley 750 double pumper. It had been sitting for a while , i kitted/rebuilt it and it just seems like it only runs good at WOT, part throttle/cruising/idle sucks. I can get a demon 750 vac secondaries for 350, almost new....worth the swap?

 

yup its worth it ... Demon carbs are proven things ... few people had bad luck with them but that was before they put them on the engine so its all good

 

A well tuned Holley will work just as well. I personally prefer Holley .

I love my 750 Speed Demon but be prepared to tune it, same as a Holley. They seem to come set up for a very hot engine.
