Have been on this site for almost a year now (drooling most of the time) and am finally able to afford a TA $$

Not looking for any year in particular, transmission does not matter nor does the color=p Am not very picky when it comes to the specs as, for the most part, I like nearly every trans am I see ;p

However, does need to be around the Illinois area ( can go a state over in any direction).

And car must be in good running shape. No fixer-uppers or cars that need a great deal of work. Dont have the time to be doing a lot of fixing nor the money to pour into a lot of touch up work. Something in good working order would be absolutely preferable.

i think i may have what you are looking for. its an 87 formula 350. its got all the performance parts you need for high 12s in the 1/4. ive got time slips to prove it. its got an Lt1/700r4/3200stall/9 bolt w/ 3.70s. its white w/ black gta wheels. it was painted a year and a half ago. black cloth interior. this thing is clean and fast. this isnt your normal third gen that has been junked and ragged on. this thing is clean and quick. only 110,000 miles on it. let me know if you are interested. -Ryan-

I am selling my 1987 Firebird Trans-AM GTA hardtop. It has the a L98 TPI 350 with 700R4 automatic. It has 104,xxx miles on the engine and the chassis. Gold GTA wheels with newer tires in the rear, fronts are pretty worn.

It drives and shifts awesome with no problems at all. Loaded with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, overhead console, cruise, tilt, foglights(1 has a crack but still works), etc. Black exterior with a tan interior. I just installed a new dashpad It comes with the original seats which need to be repaired. The GTA seats, I believe only need the bolster repaired. It could probably use new carpet as there are some stains in the footwell, but no holes or anything. The entire interior is complete.

Exterior there are spiderweb cracks on the rear spoiler. Paint is pretty good. Just starting to show some fading on the roof, but I bet it could be buffed out. There are 2 small cracks in roof at the usual spots by the top of the window. All original body parts on the car and no accidents ever. There are some small dings and dents on the roof of the car as well. It has a few scrapes and scratches but nothing that would require any body work. It was garaged every winter and there is no rust on the car. New dynomax exhaust from the cat back.


Looking to get $3500 for it.

 

The old lady has her 86 TA T-Top 305 4BBL just replaced the 700r4 trans and runs good, but does need work on the body. No dents, just rust. I think she is only asking $1400. I live about 28 miles west of Chicago in Villa Park.
