I post an ad wanting tail lights, this jerk off replies with ( I got a set from my car for 85.00) I'm thinking awesome because this guy is going to be right next to where I'm going to be this weekend, next thing I know, and after a few e-mails this guy keeps raising the price, now, it's 200.00, what a worthless piece of trash, This guy couldn't give me those lights at this point, I'd rather see them shoved in his extortionist butt, and in my opinion, he shouldn't be able to sell anything on this board.

I too thought that was very underhanded to pull a stunt like that on you! Granted that was a very low price of $85.00 but he was the one that offered it to you at that price and then backed out. Then he sells it to someone else who highjacked your ad. Sorry to see things like that going down on such a great website. Best of Luck on your search! Also who is to say that he is for real anyway? He may be a fraud and might have ripped you off! So maybe he did you a favor. Just a thought?

Thank you,
Thomas

Maybe in your world thats the way to do things, but now you will loose alot more than that for not following through with your original deal.People like you are becoming more aggrivating to deal with than its worth. If you need money more than respect you have serious problems.

sure, I have spare parts to rebuild both my 92 f-body in case they ever have to go to a body shop. Beside it's a little hard to have a part time job when I'm active duty navy. I guess you can say I do the part out as a part time job.

I have bought many times from 92fbody, Always seams to have the parts I need. Tho sometime the shipping is a little high on small parts but otherwise I have never had a problem with him BOught a t-6 off him last summer. ANd my brother just bought a complete 305 tbi for 250.00 just a few weeks ago. Not sure what the whole deal is with the tail lights, but there are a lot of HIgh jackers on this site that will contact a seller about a part and buy the part out under the other member Had another seller do that to me. Thanks again for the interior parts . Better then the pics you sent of them. Let me know on those rims when you get some time

As bad as that is, I can't really blame him for taking the offer of more than double the price. He didn't know the value although he should have looked into it before offering a price. This is why I do everything by PMs so others can't bid on the parts I'm looking for.

Well then dont quote a price to a buyer then back out.Its called honor and commitment. You would THINK someone serving in our military knows about that but he must have been overlooked.

I agree Martin 100%. I know it is taught in the USAF and the USMC and the USA but I guess not in the Navy.

I take offense to that "screw over whoever you want, the US NAVY"

I served over twenty years in the US Navy and retired 4 years ago. And Honor Courage and Commitment is the words we were taught. Dont lump the one bad apple with all the rest of the Navy.

That was sarcastic. I am sorry you took it the wrong way and would never cut down members of the arm forces, I myself am a vet. But that was the guys only defense for selling the item, then selling it to someone else. I took offense to it when he used the military as an excuse. I rountinly do not charge military for my services, I shake there hand tell then thank you and no charge. Honor, Courage and Commitment was what I heard also. The people who screw each other on this board amazes me, I would think a military member should set the examples on this board. It pissed me off. Thank you for your service.

No problem. I would not have back out on a deal. If i say something its my word. Its my bond and really the only thing that I have.

I have sold things for less than I shoud have. And its just a learning experience.
