Personally he keeps lowering himself in my eyes. At first he was just someone I would care not to deal with now I can not even say that.

If John8169 is really making all these tens of thousands of dollars like he claims, he wouldn't be so distraught over "losing" $60 on Paypal in this transaction. Not that it matters how much or how little money he makes, it just goes again to his credibility. I sell a fair amount of parts of Ebay I pull from scrapyards to fund my restoration, and one thing I have learned is that selling parts online in one manner is much like marriage - It's not IF problems arise that matters. It's how you deal with them. Going off and calling everyone "a bunch of losers" and ending with "eat me" is not the right way to handle any disagreement (after junior high school) EVEN IF you are 100% in the right. In no way am I saying John8169 is right during this transaction. I am neutral and really don't care since who's right or wrong is in my personal opinion not something I want to get involved in. What is wrong is childish behavior on a public enthusiast forum that many people have devoted a lot of time and effort to maintain.

 

so, did this "guy" (John8169) get banned yet, he was on probation already before insulting everyone, and i can not speak for everyone else, but i feel we do not need "people" like that around here

For what it's worth, I just got on this section to see if a guy I just sold to gave me a good mention like I asked and happened to notice this thread. I couldn't believe there was a guy saying ANYTHING bad about Tuned performance. Just so everyone knows, this guy guided me through my entire TBI to TPI swap every step of the way, gave me unbelievable deals on what I needed from him. Spent countless hours helping me figure out every problem I had, and every time I buy ,sell, or trade him someting I feel guilty because he bends over backwards to help me out as much as possible. Noboby should ever worry about dealing with TP. This John8169 guy is an idiot.

I enjoyed it too. If the guy made 10s of Ks a month and was any kind of decent seller, making the deal right should not have bothered him for $60. Anyhow, we see who's left standing and who's out in the cold. The forum is better for it IMO.
