Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
You did not say anything ever about shipping taking 9 days. This fender you sent me you had to know was damaged. It looks horrible and has a section cut out of it. Here are pictures of the damaged part of the fender you sent me. I do not call that perfect what so ever. This was not damaged by shipping either. I sent you a massage and then contacted my credit card company. You can deal with them at this point.

Here's an idea--
Take pics of parts that has month-day-year.
Email photos.
At least there would be some assurance the part(s) sent were in condition agreed upon..?.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
I took the pictures from my phone. It does not time stamp pictures. What difference would that make anyway. A time stamp can be altered on a camera before the picture is taken. This is not what I agreed to pay for anyway. My wanted thread says good fender not damaged, cut up fender. also I just looked and the other pictures in this thread don't have time stamps so why are you coming at me about that? This whole situation is getting out of hand just becuase twice I didn't get what I paid for. First time due to shipper not packing properly and shipping carrier damaging during shipping. Second due to shipper sending me a junk fender that was damaged and cut up.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
Detailed pics are important for online buys. What one would describe as new, perfect, slight damage, surface rust, and a GM part is apparently subjective, and always different to a seller and a buyer. Shipping damage happens more often than not, take it from someone who had six hoods shipped and none made it unscathed. One was folded in half. Don't have body parts shipped, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. While this doesn't excuse the missing edge on the fender, it can explain the damage.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
I would believe that this one would be damaged by shipping if the box itself had any damage to it, which it does not. I would have to say this was damaged before it was shipped. Looks like this fender was on a car in an accident.

How do you explain the section of the fender that has been cut up? Are you trying to say I took the fender out and cut it? I don't think so. So lets see these pictures you took that you never sent me then.

No matter how hard I try to imagine it,....... I just CAN'T see the UPS guy ( or mail-lady) cutting a section of metal from this fender. Your going to file and insurance calim because the carrier damaged your "perfect" fender ??

That's called FRAUD dude. About the only thing you can do here to 'save face' on that deal is to show pics of the same exact fender in "perfect" condition ( no pieces cut from it.) Real easy to do,... just post the pics.

J. Chris; Just My Opinion,..... follow PayPals rules and get your $$ back, then walk away. Don't let this dude keep shipping scrap & collecting insurance claims for "perfect" antique body panels.

Jason, I'm glad you never got back with me on a RUST FREE hatch deck...... Even if this fender was intact with no dents, I sure as hell wouldn't call it "perfect" with all that rust on the bottom......

You have made the facts clear for all to see. Shipping scrap metal as "perfect" body parts and then filing a bogus insurance claim when the buyer rejects them. What a crook. Don't matter how many dents the carrier *MIGHT* have put on it, there's no way they cut a chunk out of it and no way someone would ever accept it in that condition.

You might recall that I was prepared to spend hundreds of $$ on some of your parts a few months back. When contacted you I found that you couldn't follow simple direction, understand plain English or write a complete sentence. It was clear to me then that it would be a mistake to deal with you and I backed out. After reading about some of your antics with other members here,....... I'm VERY glad that I walked away.

Jason; I've got no problem admitting when I'm wrong & AS SOON AS you post your "perfect" fender pics I'll recant and apologize. Till then I'll continue to call it what it is,... Fraud. The ONLY thing I'm assuming is that you were smart enough to take pictures of this "perfect" fender before you shipped it. All you've got to do is post the pics and I'll believe you, ( Plenty of , but still no pics ? ) Please; prove me wrong.

Mind if I comment on something I "don't know nothing about"? (double negatives being a positive) Even if you do, I'll throw down the gauntlet.
You seem to have a habit of skewing your descriptions to the favorable side. While good grammar and spelling are preferred but not needed in a business, honesty is.
A few things I do know. The OPs received dash was not the one you sent a picture of. That fender was in no conceivable meaning of the definition "perfect". The description of the hood you sent me was full of discrepancies.
1) "new"..... there has not been a new hood made by GM in 11 years. (red flag, but I do see NOS hoods now and then)
2) "GM hood with a GM sticker".....It was an aftermarket hood with a sticker that was clearly from an aftermarket Chinese manufacturer.
3) "surface rust that will rub off with your hand"......Only if there is a grinder in your hand.
4) You said you would hand deliver the hood to UPS and see it loaded on the truck..... You sent for a pickup from your place of business.
5) My "free parts" would not have been free, $50 in fact, it wouldn't have cost a cent more in shipping being as you were going to add it to the packaging of the hood.
You tried to get me to drop the paypal claim so you could afford to ship the hood to me. Fat chance of that, I would not leave myself unprotected, and the $370 you got from me more than covered that. Posting a negative comment on your FB page and filing a claim in PP was the only way I got any action from you after a month of waiting and excuses.
If you can't understand why people are pissed at you, put yourself in their place.
Please feel free to debate any of these claims I am making. I can dig up screenshots of the texts you sent me.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
Jason did ship the hood to me. It arrived damaged. But in his defense, every one I have had shipped had damage(5). He made good on the refund as well. The time factor was my biggest problem in the deal, but looking at his FB page, he now promises to ship in four days or free parts. If he can pull it off he may be able to redeem himself with time. I wish him luck in doing so.

You don't need to, the info is out there for those that may think about buying from you in the future. Sounds like a plea of the 5th here. The fact is, lies are lies, and it shows your integrity or lack thereof.

edit: As far as that comment goes, I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that things would change as you said. Giving you a chance to prove yourself. I withheld my true feelings, but never really got over it. That is why the texts are still on my old phone.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
Here are the box pictures and I have sent them to Thirdgencustoms as well. There is a little box damage, but not where the fender is damaged (not to mention cut up) and I think that box was like that prepacking if you look at how its wrapped with that plastic. I taped the top of the box back up with the brown packing tape. Had to reedit because it wasn't showing the pictures just a link.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
Are you going to post a picture that is viewable? Besides the first fender isn't the one I've posted pictures on. That fender was damaged during shipping and in my opinion partly due to poor packing. I ship sensitive equipment out of my work often and I wouldn't let anything ship out like that. It was just a fender in a box with nothing else there. Maybe some of this green plastic he likes to use, but that doesn't help any. I know that stuff is difficult to ship, but it could have been alot better. No big deal other than waiting a month for it and then about 3 more weeks for the other one. Now the second fender is what I'm not happy about. It was packaged better but it was clearly damaged and cut before shipping to me. That is inexcusable. So instead of getting a run around. Which I have many times in the past with people. I just called my card company when I received and saw its condition and had them take care of it. All he has to do is provide a return label and have the post office come pick up this fender. I'm not talking bad about anyone. I'm just stating the facts. This is what happened.

Re: 3 1/2 weeks and no parts
Yea i think that fender was damaged during shipping as well. The ups driver clearly opened the package put it on their thirdgen, then drove it for a year or so only when there was salt on the road. Then got in a car accident, cut part of the fender off, felt bad, then sent it to you. That's why it took three years before you received the product. Thirdgencustom is clearly a literate, educated, hard working American man like the rest of us. He's very honest with all of his faulty shipping claims and accurate pictures we can clearly see.

In the end i would love to do business with such an outstanding vendor.

Im just kidding.... he's clearly scum and should be put on trial for fraud.
Glad this was posted and protected the rest of us from this hassle. Karma is bitch and will be coming at you with a subpoena. Enjoy your trial and hopefully some jail time.
