Cleaning the rear window
I need to clean my rear window - I heard NOT to use windex but is there anything else that I can use besides warm water?
Also, I have seen a few products out there (i.e. Meguiars Plastx) for removing scratches from plastic. Has anyone tried it on their back window? Did it work? The instructions said to clean the window first - which leads me back to my first question.

Ive used Meguiars cleaner wax inside and out and it definatley worked great. Hit it with a cleaner wax, then a plastic polish and it should look almost new.

A car cover will prevent it. The dark discoloration isn't something "on" the plastic window. It "is" the plastic window. UV exposure has damaged it. If the rest of the top is still in good shape, the only good news is that you can have a new rear window sewn in.
