the vert that i was asking about on here back in late nov (i ended up buying it outta california and having it shipped here to st louis) has a rod knocking... bad. so much for keeping a somewhat rare peice of history numbers matching. the car was all oiginal except for wearable items and a muffler
for all that dont know it was a 87 anniversary iroc-z vert, t-5, disk brake, 3.45 nine bolt, leather, all power, air, all available coolers, etc...... all options of the year for the car

nice looking car. why dont you just send the original block out for rebuild. then it stays numbers matching. or you could swap in another motor and put the original in storage for later possibke value reasons.

you second option is exactly what i am doing, i have never sold or gotten rid of any part from either one of my cars, the moto is coming out for a 355 but i will keep the stock motor for numbers matching reasons
