Do you think this is a "RARE" part?????
I found this while searching E-Bay, From what has been discussed here and on the History Forum i wanted to pass this on to all who may be interested!!!!!!!!!
This is the seller's description..............
rare convertable top, conversion, sporty looking
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...481526969&rd=1
Thanks, Rick
I would think it too be worth more than his buy now price?????
Just checked on Mapquest and found this to be 46.33 miles from me, I think curiousity will force me to try go look at it, Especially since a Iroc-Z hood is included in the deal??????????

Holy crap. That's some parts from the ultra-rare two-seater conversions that were done. I wonder if that piece would replace the stock tonneau cover. I would say it's definitely worth the buy it now price....maybe more.
Dude I'd be all over that if I lived in Chicago! Grab it while you can!

it's not worth as much simply because it wasn't an ASC converted car. IMO however it looks pretty cool like the saleen covers they have for rustangs, i just dont' like the rivets that are on it. the buy it now price is def sweet considering you pick up gfx and a iroc hood with blisters as well.

Those parts are from a convertible conversion done by Autoform. They wouldn't work on a ASC (aka factory) convertible. There would be many parts required to do the conversion to a coupe. IMO the Autoform conversion was rather crude and ugly.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there...Have you seen one of the AutoForm convertibles up close? They're actually pretty well done. I'm very happy with mine. I'm a big fan of the roadster look. The only downside is not finding much information on them. If you'd ever like to have a close look at one, let me know...I can take pictures like crazy...
Plus, I've got to say I love having just two seats.
