Vert Top Interchanging???

Would anyone know if the top from a 91 vert would fit on a 87 frame, I understand that ASC had a few changes during the early year's . I just wanted to know if someone has any experience with this ???

Thanks

No. There were 3 different frames and tops used through the years ASC converted the cars into 'verts. I don't have the exact cutoff dates for the versions, but as I recall it was '87-88 (hook attaches it to the A-piller), 89-90, 91-92 (both versions have the rotating pin latch method of attaching the frame to the A-piller).

I have an 88 that has the rotating connection for the top. Were there mid year changes also?

There must be. I have a friend with a 88 Iroc 'vert and his was the hook style latch.

I believe there were also 2 different types of rotating pin assemblies. Have you heard of this, Lon?

My 87 Sport Coupe has the rotating pin assembly in it, It look's as if these Car's were put together with what ever was on hand at any given time. Make's it difficult to know what will fit what w/out the old trial and error method??

Thanks for all the Input!!!!!!!!!!
