Will a 4th gen coupe rear seat fit?

....in a 3rd gen convertible? My back seat has a couple burn holes and I was thinking of replacing it with a black leather one(Same with the fronts).

As far as I know you should be alright. I bought my 89 IROC convertible with leather seats all around from a 94 camaro. The back seats look like they fit perfectly. The only mod that I can see is a metal rod stuck in the center hump right in front of the seat backs. I'm not sure if you need this to keep the seat backs from falling forward or to keep them in place. Unfortunately I can't give you an install walkthrough because the seats were installed before I bought the car. Someone else who has done the change personally can probably help you out with the details.

Yeah, they fit - but note that the rear seat-back is a little lower than the 3rd gen ones - so you'll get a little gap between the top of the seat-back and the tonneu cover. At least I did when I put in the 97 T/A seats.

..and the seat-belt brackets from the old seatback needs installed on the new seats. The 4th gen brackets are heavy steel not plastic like ours but they interfere with the seat latching in properly.

I have a set of 99 pleather seats in place of my original real-leather seats. that thirdgen leather is thick and comfy wish it wasn't all sliced up.
