1984 Convertible

I need a little assistance form someoone who has a 1984 Z28 Camaro/Firebird with the little back trunk. I was wondering if would be kind enough to send/post a picture of how the trunk shock is mounted to the larger fiberglass trunk. I took this apart without taking picture 6 months ago before getting the car painted and has had a brain fart and forgot exactly hows it is mounted.
Thanks in Advance
David

Thanks for the pictures, however I have yet had a chance to install the trunk shock parts since a lot of my parts are out for chroming and should be back with the next few weeks. Now I have switch my attention to the interior and had a very good weekend working on that. I just bought a new Strange rearend 12 bolt. The only thing I have left is a new convertible top and find the right weatherstripping for the trunk and hatch rear. If you have any ideas please share for this weatherstripping
Thanks: David

I'm in the last stage of the restoration of my 84 Camaro 2 seat convertible. I have replace the seat with LS1 Black Leather. The question now is that my original seats only came with lap seatbelts, but the LS1 seath has the provision for the 3-point seatbelt. I was stopped by the police from driving without headlight when I pick my car up from the body shop. He stated that I should have also had the cross your chest strap and I could be given a ticket, but the nice police let me go with the lap belt and now i'm wondering if this will be a problem now that I have LS1 seats. If you want to see the progress click on this link and look at the "Restored Camaro"
