Curious, but have you tried detail shops?
I've seen the various prices here being $80 to $150 or so. If you can get a full detail at around $100, I think it's a good deal, myself. I used to use that Blue Coral stuff...forget the name but it was only two steps (if memory serves)

Yeah, we've got some detailers around here that'll do it for about $100. I've had a few cars done before car shows or whatever, and it's nice to not have to stay up half the night before a car show polishing/waxing. I would say most detailers don't do engine bays very well though. Especially if you've got any chrome. I always do the engine bay myself, but they always do a nice job of washing/polishing, and even spray some black undercoating type stuff under the car and in the fenderwells if you want them to.

Caddy,
As I speak I am taking a break from waxing my 90 Camaro Vert. Your pic made me do it! My car is the same color as yours...

Polished cars are da bomb.
Pretty much, the only thing I will have a detailer do is the engine bay. No one cleans my car better than me.

I had my 84 Biarritz detailed professionally, though costly at $150 or less, IIRC...They did do an excellent job, inside and out.
I need that kind of attention for both my cars interior for one and the GTA diamond spoked rims on my car, which have needed polishing since I got the car...but never got around to.
Tommorow, I'm having my cooling system looked at, today, had the bumper work assessed and it sounds like a go...very soon!
I cleaned my car by hand as well, using The Absorber, which is one hell of a product! I also used a garden 'showerhead' sprayer on a hose to get under each wheel well, where dirt had been hiding too long. It's a nice stretch of summer weather now and 7 days of next to no rain...perfect!!
