The folks at Hawk emailed me indicating it won't fit on a convertible. Has anyone been able to put a similar spoiler on a convertible?

Problemcis going to be blending it in with the stock 'side caps'. The side sections of the stock spoiler used to cover up the welds. Middle piece will work, but then you would have to epoxy in the side pieces after a lot of cutting and fitting..
A lot of work for something I don't think a topless car can balance out.

Cadillac.......
Because of the way the Camaro taillights wrap around to be visible from the rear quarters, that is the line that the spoiler takes. The Firebird tailights do not do the same thing......it might fit on a Poncho.......but (I think) the effect would be far from the same as the photo above......
Anyone else have an opinion on this?
It would look good on a convertible though. THAT would be something totally different!

I have a spoiler I don't see often on a vert. It has a pretty tall rise and looks like it' factory - or at least dealer installed. I really like it and it makes the car stand out - or at least it will once the car is finished. It's at the below link. Pictures need some improvement, but It's going to be in the garage for another week or 2 with the engine apart.
