Car: 86 IROC w/Danko bodykit, 1988 iroc vert, 1989 k1500 pickup 6" lift and 35" tires, 2002 chevy tahoe z71

Engine: 383 stealth ram, 305 tpi, 350 tbi, 5.3l

Transmission: T56, 700r4, 700r4, 4l460

87-88 to 88-92 cable

has anyone converted there linkage set up to the cable type. i just purchased the cable kit from ebay and wanted to know what i needed to do in order to get it to work

Here is a link that I think will help if you are trying to convert the 87-88 Convertible Top Rear Pin Linkage to the more common 88-92 Cable set up.

I had actually thought about it for my 88 but I lucked into a the part that I needed. I had even bought an 89 tonneau cover to swap out but never needed it. I just kept it as I figured convertible parts will just be tougher to get in the future.
