As in my sig , I'm a moderator on www.ls1tech.com . One of the members posted about seeing a convertible 3rd gen Camaro with a hardtop kit. From what he described , it sounded like an Autoform car (no backseat , molded tonneau,etc.) . I realize that anything was possible with the oddball conversions but have you ever heard of this? I've never seen nor heard of a hardtop kit. Perhaps it was even an aftermarket kit that wasn't an Autoform at all. I realized only the Great Guru of all that is 3rdgen would know the answer . Enlighten me , O Great One!

Ditto. That would be a complete hardtop shell, similar to the Miata's, which basically drops onto a convertible with its top folded down.

 

I'll see if I can get him to snap a pic of it if he sees it again. It would be a very interesting sight to see. Thanks for your help!

i thought about getting one made... but then i thought about it, factored in my lack of bill gates account number and realized until i win the lottery, it just wont be feesable...
