Question about '91/'92 verts
Did the Z28's come with a Wonderbar?
I don't wanna buy a Spohn if I already have a factory wonderbar on the car. And it's too cold to crawl up under the car with it in the snow

I belive it depends on the suspension package.
I can see my WB from looking down at the radiator with hood open.

I thought it was on only if the car came with 16" rims from the factory. Mine did so I had one but I upgraded to the TDS one when I bought my sub frame connectors. It was a lot nicer and beefier than the stock one, and lighter too I think.
I'd give you my stocker if we lived closer together. Some clown in the paper was trying to sell a stock one for 135$ I should have called him and sold him mine for 50$

Like Dale said, I think it depends on the suspension package my 91' Z28 didn't come with one.
I have a spohn's wonderbar if you need one. $50 shipped.

Nick, I like you but you are getting a little carried away with the posting.
"HAY GUYS! DO I HAVE A WONDERBAR? IT'S COLD AND I DON'T WANT TO GO LOOK MYSELF."
Just sayin'.

Hes always been a post *****.
As far as i know wonderbars only came stock on some irocs.
By the way i recommend the TDS Wonderbar, its sturdier and has more mounting points.

Well, there is that. What's up with that, Nick? Too much insecurity in your life such that making it up on an auto forum seems like the right thing to do? No need to answer...
Yeah... I got the TDS wonderbar in the first quarter I had my car. Immiediate, noticeable difference.

I asked the guys in my club about it and they said to post up on TGO because nobody knew if there was a way to figure out with the RPO sheet or VIN if a car came with it or not. Sorry for being curious.

Also, I didn't put too much thought into my original post, it makes me seem more lazy than I actually am. The real story is this:
I havne't been home in 4-5 days because I've been house/dog sitting for a good friend of mine. I've also been at school and work in between watching the dogs and sleeping, and I haven't been home since my friend went out of town. I was driving around his car, so naturally my car stayed at home most of the week. So I physically COULDN'T look under the car for a WB, and I thought some of you would wanna help me out here.

Wonderbar
Some models with the handling package came with a thinner type of bar. My 89 came with one but I upgraded to the TDS Wonderbar when I did the Alston SFCs. Much stronger with additional mounting points to take stress off the steering box mounting location.

Following you own posts is another sytptom of "postus whorus".
Anyway, I didn't want to bust yer ***** too hard. Sometimes wisdom is knowing when not to post a message (something I obviously haven't learned).

So I guess another question I have is this: Are aftermarket wonder bars more of a "replacement" part or are they actually an UPGRADE, meaning they're a lot better than a stock wonderbar?
EDIT* Nevermind I just read SDcal7's post.

On the contrary..I was under the impression that the wonder bar was not installed on any of the 91-92 cars. Mine didn't come with one and neither have any other late model cars i've seen, maybe it's just a hit and miss thing?

Someone at the plant was playing Camaro Roulette with the wonder bars. "Oh hey, lets put one on this car!"

Theres a difference. I have a lot of post too. But if you look at them, ull see that they contribute to the board with information. Ya i may compliment someone's car but i like to leave feedback that will help people that is what keeps Thirdgen.org going. Post whoring and just posting are different things. You double post after almost every post you make. You reply just leave smiles and stuff. Thats what Cadillac is getting at. Anyway im not trying to get on your *** but he has a point.

I think I've only double posted like twice...ever...And I've maybe posted with just a smiley 3 times. every other time its with a "it'd look better if you did this" or "that looks freaking awesome good job" ....I don't get why all of this matters though. This site wouldn't function without peoples' input on stuff...
