Custom made Speedster Tonneau?
Custom made Speedster Tonneau?
I have a 92 vert Firebird, does anybody know wo can fab a Speedster Tonneau? I was looking through the threads but I've noticed that the tonneau cover extends all the way to the wing and eats up all the trunck space and also has side snaps to cover the back part of the top which is a sight of sore eyes to a beautiful car. Is there a company who can fab our own Tonneau to look like other sports cars? I was hoping somebody might know of a company who might take this challenge to create a speedster Tonneau like the one below for our birds. Maybe a fiberglass mold making co, but every company I called, really does not want to take it on.

Hawks do have them but it's the factory Tonneau which I have, but I was looking for more of a speedster tonneau look, like from the picture above. I was looking through some thread, which has the same look as from the picture above but it extends to the wing and was wonder why it cannot be done by taking out the existing tonneau and just add a speedster tonneau?
1 you wont have any snaps on the side of the car to secure the back part of the top and 2 it's just more easier to handle.
