I looking at a 1988 bright red GTA convertible. It has tan cloth, tan top, 305 auto. The car needs to be restored, but it is supposed to run and drive. I am going to look at it Saturday. Carfax shows a salvage title in 1993 and the last registration in 1998. What things do I need to look for as far as collision damage? He is asking $2500, but I know I can get it cheaper. Is this a good price, or should i run? What should I try to get it for if the car looks straight.
