I recently had my top put on but I notice on the sides above the driver and passenger window there is nothing really holding it down. I mean if someone wanted to they could just reach right in! So I know I have to be missing something just wondering what it is... Its on an 89

there is a cable on each side that runs that goes through a little sleeve in the top above the window. yours may be broken or just has a lot of slack. i think top down solutions may sell them.

The side tensioner cables? They are on there and new but there is still a lot of slack.

when putting the top up, there will be slack. But once its latched down, its all very tight.

There is a 2nd bow, right above the middle of the window. Is there one on yours? Maybe your missing a bow?
