Convertible weatherstrip kit

New to the camaro scene, bought a 92 conv. but it is in bad new of some weatherstripping. Car came from Florida and the only decent rubber left is the lower door flappers that mount to the door panels. Even the outer door sill rubbers are absolutly (sp) toast.

You wouldn't dare take this through a car wash unless you needed a bath as well.

Where can I find them ? Thanks in advance.

Re: Convertible weatherstrip kit

Ebay sells them, quite expensive for the entire set and it looks like it might be missing a couple of pieces. Not sure, though, I've not ordered it. Lonestar muscle car or a company named similarly sells them also, google it and you may find them.

If you get the set, let me know if it contains the piece that goes at the top of the door jam, just below the seat belt guides. Doesn't look like they show it in the pic on ebay.

Re: Convertible weatherstrip kit

WTF! Why is this so damn expensive?
Those parts probably only cost less than $100 to make.
This is just ridiculous!
Maybe we should think about making some ourselves?

Re: Convertible weatherstrip kit

Less than $100 to make... I bet it is closer to $10.00 in materials... Its Supply, Demand and the lack of cars that make it so expensive...
