Hawks Convertible Parts

Have any of you vert owners purchased any of the aftermarket convertible parts from Hawks? I am switching over my vert interior to black and have everything done except for the rear sail panels (one of which is hacked). Wondering if anyone has tried the reproduction vert panels offered from Hawks, any fitment issues, etc.? I know they need to be covered. Also thinking of ordering the upper seat belt trim repros with the weather strip wedges (those are finally offered now woohoo!) Glad to see people havn't forgotten about those third gen verts. Any feedback would be appreciated

Re: Hawks Convertible Parts

I have ordered the weatherstrips from him but havent fitted them yet. They are really good people to deal with and I would be interested to know how those upper seat belt trims work for you. They look to be good. Please let me know what you think of his parts. thanks.

Re: Hawks Convertible Parts

I bought the upper seat belt trim about a month ago and put them on my 91...they are pretty nice and include the small piece that goes underneath them to cover up the slit where the seat belt is fed through during install. You will have to drill the holes in them for the mounting screws, which works out nice because you can just drill the holes to match the ones already in your panels. Overall, I was pleased with them, they work and look great

Re: Hawks Convertible Parts

Why not ask in the Vender Reviews Forum.

Personally I think Hawks is #1 they are not the cheapest, BUT he is honest and he stands behind his parts...
