newbe conv owner
Just bought a 92 RS conv, no pics yet but will try to post some soon. Car needs some restoring, good running gear, not to bad interior, nice wheels, ok top, nees paint badly. Original paint a somewhat plum color?, would I be better to repaint original color or change to my liking? Don

If you're going to hang on to it then do what you like. If you want to turn it, do the original color then you won't have to paint jams, trunk etc. I wouldn't worry too much about keeping it stock as I don't think the collector market is looking hard at the RS. Even the Z28s don't fetch too much unless they have ridiculously low milage.

Welcome to the club.
The car is worth more the orginal color, and easier for any repairs that may need done. But if you plan no modding the motor, suspension, etc, then do whatever color you please.
IIRC the plum color in a vert is semi rare.

IIRC is internet lingo for "If I Recall Correctly".
I dont know the paint rpo codes, but if the decoder calls it that, Id say its correct.
