1984 camaro convertable

been looking at 84 camaro convertible. Is there a way to identify who did the conversion? What would it be worth?

I would check the door jambs for a label. I would also check the glovebox for a label or maybe some old papers. Often, the paperwork has been passed down through the owners and you might find something there.

Here are the options that I have found for F-bodies (I find new ones just about every week):
National Coach Engineering(82), Steas Industries(82) Straman(82,83,85,87,88,90), Autodyne Corp(82), Duquet-Sawdy Inc., International Coach(83,84), Convertible Concepts(83,87) Autodyne Corp(82), Coach Builders Ltd(82), American Custom Coachworks(82,83,84), John Greenwood(82,83), Hi-Line Kustoms(85), Auto Form Corp.(82,83,84,85,86,87), ASC Inc.(85,86), ChooChoo(ASC)(86), Matrix3(84,85,86), Coach Conversions(83,84,85), Griffith(84), Buffalo Conversions Corp(84)

As for value? I'd say it's worth about a 25% premium over a hardtop's value. Condition, condition, condition.

Please let us know what you find out! If you don't buy it, post the info here so other members have a chance to buy it (save it from death?)

Re: 1984 camaro convertable

As a side note....I found two new rare conversions this week. Both are '84s

First one is an '84 'Bird by International Coach. You can find it for sale here:

Next is an '84 Camaro Z28 by Buffalo Conversions Corp. Might be worth checking into.
