VERT Rear Seat Upholstery Cleaning??
The case could be made that this should go into the interior/upholstery thread but my question IS Vert specific.
I have noticed a build up of road grime on the top 1/3 of the rear seats of my Camaro RS Vert. My seats are close to the original doeskin color. It is actully called "Oak Tweed."
I want to clean this but not smear it and make a bigger mess than I had when I started. Has anybody had the occasion to clean something like this and if so what cleaners and proceedure did you use to good effect?
Thanks!
Speedy

Re: VERT Rear Seat Upholstery Cleaning??
I assume your interior is not leather. On GM fabrics, I have had good experiences with standard carpet/upholstery cleaners available at auto stores. You will need to do the entire seat though, not just the top third, to make it look good. After cleaning, use a Scotchgard product to repel new dirt from sticking and make the the clean look last longer. Good luck.
