You may not find much info here on 2nd gen Firebirds, since this is for 3rd gen, but then again we do have some well rounded knowledgable guys here. I never seen a 2nd gen vert and I kind of like it. Later.

i'm sure the vert specific parts are extremely hard to find hope all those are still intact for you ,y can't i come across a vert in the bush while hunting....... tons of potential i bet someone knows something

Unfortunately it is not a third-Gen.
To answer your question, your other thread appears to be better than anything that you will find here. There were a lot of companies doing conversions for second gens. Only the 1st, 3rd & 4th had a convertible offereing. And the 3rd & 4th gens were more or less conversions but they were "Authroized." All third Gens were done outsourced where ASC did the complete conversion, the 4th Gens were supplied parts and the conversion was done in the factory. ASC also supplied parts for 4th gens.
