Just got my youngest son a '91 RS Convertible
That teal green looking color, black top, 305 TBI with an automatic transmission.
Previous owner put it in a ditch and broke the right rear control arm (we had 4 spares and already replaced it) and bent the right spindle (1 spare for that) and getting it ready to go on - clean/grease the bearings, get the rotor turned, new grease seal when it finally stops raining.
The rest of it is good to go. The windows seem a little loose but we have spares for the power window motors and interior/door mounts/linkages for the power windows if those are the same as the hard top/t top cars.
The ditch thing scraped the paint on the spoiler/nose and put some dimple type dings/buckles in the front fender in a couple of places. Will probably replace the fender this spring before getting it painted.
Two cigarette burn holes in the rear seats (one on each seat) and a couple 50 cent sized tears in the front drivers seat on the outer edge half way up.'
The AC, radio, lights, etc. all seem to work fine. Starts up and idles fine with no check engine light. Tires are in good shape. One rim with some curb rash but we have a spare set of the same 16" rims for it. That's right, I have the 3rd Gen Camaro disease (2 '86 IROCS, an '83 Z28, and my son now has 2 '91 RS's and lots of spare parts after numerous trips to the junkyards over the years.)
He's already sent pictures to his buddies with the comment, "Well, I guess I'll be one of those fools you see riding around in November with the top down."
I'm trying to get him to register here so he can research the convertible data posted here.
Have a good one.
Oh yeah, $1500 bucks.

Yah, sounds like a nice car - and a good deal, too. I paid $1800.00 for my '90 RS 'vert a couple of years back . . .
