23 years after... it's all there but the elements have taken their toll, it has all the issues that an older roof does.

A while back, Hawks sent me a message saying they'd bought out the full stock of tops from ASC, does anyone know if any are left?

I don't want to waste money on a top, but if it takes spending a little more, okay, I didn't keep this thing around for this long to chintz on it now.

A FOAF does show quality trim work and insurance work, so I've got the install handled in that regard.

Just looking for a recommend on the top, and whatever other parts are necessary to do the install fresh, clean and factory.

You should just buy the frame with a basically new top on it from my 87 iroc vert should be the same I would think at least. Let me know if you are interested. that way the install is just removing the frame and replacing it. I am in NW Ohio so not terribly far away. If you are interested I can send pics.

 

Get yourself a new top from http://www.topsonline.com/index.php?CarmodelID=1064000. Can't go wrong with the Stayfast cloth. Everyone here who has put one on their car has been very satisfied. Even an option for a glass rear window. Equal or better than ASC's material. Especially when taking into consideration that if you find any ASC new tops, they are going to be years old already. They stopped cutting that pattern ages ago. Stayfast is quality new material.

 

mine is the stayfast top from topsonline but I kept the original style vinyl rear window instead of going with glass.
